While this site was launched onto the web on February 29, 2008 it has expanded beyond the papers on Norse mythology which was its initial purpose: to make them available to scholars in mythology and paleoastronomy as well as anyone who is interested. Since then more has been added to attempt to keep a flow of interesting writings.
All of the other sections beyond the Norse myth papers, Thunderbird paper and Stories have been written since February 29. As new articles are added they are continually updated to make them as accurate as possible. These additions and updates are logged on the Revisions page.
The work has been undertaken with an effort to do good science, the emphasis has always been based upon following the evidence where it leads, not to attempt to validate or conform with common, popular, or academic theories, models, or conceptions. Or to simply pursue interesting questions. Avoiding any disruptions the addition of other things I hope to add will continue, while there are other things the world is not yet ready for...
